ENVIRO SERIES FUME CUPBOARDS

CONSTRUCTION

Main Body

Fabricated from UPVC or FRP (Fire Retardant Polypropylene), each section of the main body (base, hood & 2 sides) is 1 piece molded to produce clean sharp lines. Provision for door balancing weights is made within vertical box section front members.

Doors

Unless specified by the client or consultant, all Enviro Series Fume Cupboards feature clear acrylic counter balanced doors. Door & weights are factory balanced for smooth and easy vertical operation. Lubricated door runners are concealed from sight. All Enviro Series Fume Cupboards are available with UPVC, Polycarbonate or Toughened Glass as an alternative to Acrylic.

Base

Manufactured from a composite board and UPVC base, all cupboards are finished with a standard white UPVC base/sump & removable Trespa work surface, white FR Polypropylene base/sump & removable Trespa work surface. Containing and cleaning spillages is easy with a raised front edge, radius corners and easy to clean UPVC or FR Polypropylene base.

Controls

All of Pioneers cupboards come complete with Pioneer’s exclusive SM 276V4 Safety Touch Screen Control System. This system allows simple touch screen operation of all of the cupboards functions and includes a vandal proof clear cover. Amongst many other minimum Australian Standards Pioneer’s SM 276V4 system offers manual reset emergency isolation to isolate services in the event of an emergency, airflow monitoring to maintain minimum face velocity of 0.5 meters per second and audible & visual alarms to alert operator of fault conditions. Pioneer’s control system complies with all applicable Australian Standards and is conveniently mounted level with the top of the sash opening.

Services

Pioneer carefully selected from Enware’s range of Laboratory Tap Ware for high performance, ease of operation, bright eye catching color coding and low maintenance. All of our cupboards come standard with cold water and natural gas Service control handles and outlets, vacuum, compressed air, nitrogen, hydrogen are also available upon request. All cupboards are also fitted with RCD protected GPO’s for added safety.

Lighting

Mounted in the top of the cupboard and protected by a clear UPVC window is a standard fluorescent light system.

Baffles

Single sided cupboards have a three tier baffle system manufactured from a heat and acid resistant material facilitating efficient extraction of fumes. Double sided cupboards incorporate Pioneer’s SSB (Single Suspended Baffle) system for ease of maintenance and increased extraction capabilities.

Fans

Pioneer cupboards come complete with variable speed fans. Fan casings and impellors are single piece molded Polypropylene with all components in contact with the air-stream protected against chemical attack or corrosion. Weather proof fan motors are mounted on hot dip galvanized steel frames. Discharge stacks are supported by 1 single galvanized stack support pole attached directly to the galvanized steel frame and running vertically alongside the discharge stack for complete support. The stack support pole eliminates the need for high maintenance, dangerous unsightly guy wire systems.

Optional Extras & Mounting

Pioneer Enviro Series Fume Cupboards have provisions for the addition of other non-standard services that may be required. Designed for bench top mounting Pioneer offer standard or custom designed joinery, powder coated mild steel or stainless steel frames upon request. Alternatively, Pioneer’s Fume Cupboard’s can be mounted on existing benches or joinery.

Warranty

12 months standard warranty.
Optional extended warranty packages available including servicing and maintenance of the entire fume extraction system.
